Consent and copyright:
It is crucial that you get the proper consent of everyone appearing in your film who is recognisable either visually or through voice-over or work they have previously produced. This doesn't mean you need to chase after every passer-by, but those you have clearly engaged with to feature on the film will need to sign the form on page 4. The legal agreement to which they are signing is detailed on page 3, please inform them of that. This is a necessity as we want to feature the films on the University's website.
Music and photos:
No copyrighted music of any kind can be featured in the films. All music must be royalty free. If you wish to use your own music it must be an original composition. Any photos featured in the film must be your own.
For copyright-free music, we recommend that you look at Audio Network - Production Music Library, which offers tracks for student productions for just £1 each.
If you have any questions about consent and copyright, please get in touch: mycam@admin.cam.ac.uk
